Whenever you successfully log into Facebook from a new device, application, or browser, Facebook asks you whether you would like to remember it. You won't need a login code the next time you want to access Facebook from that authorized device and location. Now that you can't access Code Generator, this could be your private backdoor into your Facebook account.
Try to access Facebook from a browser or app you've used previously. Maybe you're still logged in on an old laptop, your work computer, or your tablet. When you find a device where you can still access Facebook, you should see a notification asking you to approve the new login.
You can also access the above recovery route through any browser, on desktop or mobile. Go to m.facebook.com and log into your account using your mobile number, email, or username and password. When prompted for the login code, click Having trouble? > I don't have my phone > Continue.
And in the future, always make sure at least one device, other than your laptop or phone, has an authorized login. It could be a home computer that you'll always have access to. Only ever let Facebook remember devices and locations that are private and safe. And frequently review your list of Authorized Logins and Remove outdated items.
To login to your Meta Quest 2, you now need to set up a Meta account. And yes, that does sound like they've replaced one mandatory login with another, but this Meta account doesn't require you to connect any social media account in order to use it. In fact, you don't need to own any social media accounts whatsoever, as you can set up a Meta account with only an email address.
Otherwise, if you're starting a new account for the first time, you should now see the new login process pop up first thing when you sync your device with the Oculus app. In the app, you should be able to choose to use either Instagram, Facebook, or an email address to create your new Meta account.
Though the shift to Meta accounts does come a little too late for any bargain hunters. Meta only recently increased the price for all of its Quest 2 models by $100, meaning the headset isn't as wildly cheap as it once was. It's still a good buy, however, as you're looking to spend a whole lot more for something like a Valve Index. More so now that the mandatory login has been removed. I know at least a handful of people that refused to buy a Quest while it was still in place, but I wonder if the ship has sailed for that lot now, anyways.
Knowing your login method can solve many issues. Every user starts the game using the anonymous/guest method. It is important to remember that an anonymous/guest account can only be accessed locally from the device on which it was created, and if you have to perform a factory reset on your device, you will lose the ability to access your account. However, all account information is stored on our servers and not remotely on devices, so it is still possible that we can retrieve your progress. To avoid complications, we strongly recommend that you bind your anonymous/guest account.
If your My Singing Monsters account uses the Facebook login method, all you need to do to access your account on a new device is to ensure you are signed into the Facebook application on the new device, launch the game, and log in via Facebook on the loading screen.

If you are playing via anonymous/guest login, there is no guarantee that you will be able to access your account after deleting and reinstalling the game, owing to a large number of factors. It is highly recommended, whenever possible, to secure an anonymous/guest account by binding it to email login.

What about all the people you asked to be your friend who ignored or deleted your request? Facebook keeps track of that. Go to facebook.com/friends/requests(Opens in a new window) for a list of the people who hate you. Or maybe they just don't check Facebook that much. Probably both.

What you can bulk delete are the apps and websites that use Facebook for log-ins. Go to Settings > Apps & Websites(Opens in a new window) and you'll see tabs for Active, Expired, and Removed apps/sites. Select a bunch and log out. When you go back to that site/service in the future, it's best to do a login with an email address and password; better yet, use a password manager.

I don't know if it is related but I had in the past installed the facebook app on my iphone but deleted it 8 months ago. As far as I am aware I have never logged in to facebook in the safari app on my iphone. (I only use my PC laptop now to login to facebook.)
But still from time to time when clicking on a search result in Google in the Safari app on my iPhone that takes me to a webpage on facebook, it is logging in to my account. How can I make Safari/iPhone or whatever it is that remembers my credentials to forget me? 2ff7e9595c
