The next Korean zombie film that took the Internet by storm after Train to Busan, this is just your classic zombie apocalypse movie, released right on time to be pandemic-ally relevant. It was shot and produced before COVID-19 struck the world, so it's a total coincidence that the protagonist's struggle to keep himself safe from infected zombies feels eerily similar to lockdown. It hits close enough to home to be unnerving, but not so close that it stops the escapism that you're looking for in a horror movie.

The Straw Hats close in on the real Partia as the winners of the race but the marine ships from the beginning of the movie suddenly appear and go after them, forcing them to flee from the island and forfeit their prize money. They let Adelle, Shuraiya, and Grandpa off then wish them good-bye individually before sailing off with the marines on their tail. Despite not getting the prize money (much to Nami's disappointment, considering the fact that she proceeded to strangle Zoro because he asked if she did not care about the money), the Straw Hats continue on for their next big adventure.

Narrator: Patuxet had easy access to fresh water, a decent harbor, and high ground from which the Pilgrims could defend themselves. They set their lone cannon on a nearby hill and christened the village New Plymouth. The fortifications were hardly sufficient to the task; the Wampanoag, even in their weakened state, could have wiped out the visitors with ease; instead Massasoit sent warriors to keep an eye on the strangers.

Narrator: Throughout that winter, Massasoit wrestled with the question of how to deal with the newcomers. The Chief's first impulse had been to put a curse on the Pilgrims, and watch them die off altogether. But the weakened Wampanoag needed any friends they could get. Massasoit was paying steep tribute to the Narragansett, but he knew his near neighbors had the numbers to overrun the remaining Wampanoag villages whenever they chose. And he was aware that the strangers came from a nation of wealth and military might.

Narrator: English colonists from the outlying villages fled to bigger towns; some simply boarded ships and headed back to Europe. Alarmists among the English feared they would all be driven into the sea.

Tenskwatawa: Now My Children, I charge you not to speak of this talk to the whites...The world is not as it was at first, but it is broken, and leans down; and those that are on the slope, from the Chippewas, and further, will all die, if the earth should fall; therefore, if they would live, every Indian village must send to me two persons to be instructed, so as to prevent it.

Joseph Trimbach, Former FBI Agent: Tuesday, February 27th, I received a telephone call from some news outlet. I was told that the caravan had forcibly took over the village, were holding hostages, causing destruction there. So I immediately got my agents together, and I proceeded to the main entrance to Wounded Knee.

Some time later, in the midst of Rey's studies of the ancient texts she retrieved from the First Jedi Temple, the Falcon returns. However, the ship has been damaged during the course of its escape from the First Order. Rey complains about the damage to the Falcon but Poe counters by pointing out that BB-8 has been battered by the earlier training accident. While Poe and Rey argue, Finn tries to brief Rey about their mission to meet with the spy. Despite their differences, Poe tells Rey that she is the "best fighter" in the Resistance and thinks that she should be helping them in the war against the First Order rather than training on Ajan Kloss.

Kylo Ren, having emerged from the wreckage of his ship, advances across the desert and engages in a duel of the Force with Rey, each of them pulling the First Order transport to their side. In this struggle, Rey accidentally releases a burst of Force lightning, destroying the vessel and seemingly killing Chewbacca. Ren allows the Jedi and her allies to escape in Ochi's vessel, as his own troops have captured the Falcon.

Gon and Killua sneak through the East Gorteau border. They enter a small village, only to find it empty. Seeing blood and shallow graves, Killua deduces that the Selection had already begun, and were using the pretense of a celebration to make the mass disappearance of people unsurprising. Killua also explains that to select as many as 5 million people, and not have so many Nen-capable Ants, means that they can control them. Killua plans to attack the ones being controlled, while Gon remains in hiding.[42] As Killua attempts to prevent the citizens from going to their impending doom, many don't believe him and he garners attention.[43][44] He is attacked by Chimera Ants swarming the forest and Leol's Squad.[45] While claiming victory against Ikalgo, he decides not to kill him because of his admiration for the latter's resolve to never betray his comrades.[46] He is then caught in a dart game with the Ortho Siblings, where he is the dartboard.[47] He nearly dies, but Ikalgo, having a change of heart, saves him.[48] Meanwhile, Gon continues to wander in the East Gorteau's countryside. A Squadron Leader takes an interest in him, so he sends his officers and soldiers after him, only for them to be defeated.[49][43] He reveals himself to Gon,[48] and joins the boy to get revenge on the King for killing his former self's adoptive father, Peggy. Gon agrees, much to Meleoron's surprise.[50]

As the dragons rain down, the invasion squad infiltrated the palace via the doors that Knov set by the staircase.[69] Everyone but Ikalgo heads towards the stairs; Ikalgo goes to find Palm. There, they unexpectedly encounter Youpi sitting on the stairs.[70] Youpi immediately goes into attack mode. As this is happening, the dragons break through the roof. When the group realized that if Knuckle and Meleoron, who were both invisible and undetectable were killed by the dragons, they could stay invisible forever, Knuckle reassures them by punching Youpi.[71] Gon and Killua rush past him on the stairs,[72] while Morel uses his smoke to hide and escape from him. While Youpi is locked in a direct battle with Shoot, and with Knuckle and Meleoron on the side,[73] Knuckle saves Shoot by punching Youpi again, this time activating Hakoware. Shoot begs Knuckle to beat Youpi up for ignoring him. With Shoot nearly dead, Knuckle is forced to fend for himself.[74]

Morel heads to the throne room itself where he encounters Shaiapouf. Taking advantage of Pouf's loss of composure, Morel traps Pouf with Smoky Jail.[76] Seeing that he could not escape easily, Pouf turns himself into a chrysalis[80] and uses his Beelzebub ability to split himself into billions of tiny Poufs that can slip through the smoke to create a clone of himself outside the smoke, but leaving his real self inside the chrysalis. Morel attacks the chrysalis, finding that it was empty, and releases Smoky Jail, which ends up releasing the real Pouf. Morel tries to attack Pouf with Deep Purple, but Pouf counters by using Beelzebub once again to split himself up. Trying to catch the clones, Morel is struck by Pouf who ambushed him with his real body from behind. Pouf takes Morel's pipe to strip him of his Nen abilities[81] and throws it into a river. He then heads to the palace where Pitou is in an attempt to kill Gon from behind. Pitou, worried that Gon would get angered and kill Komugi, orders Pouf not to do it.[82] Pouf leaves the situation to Pitou, but when Gon demands that Pouf stay,[83] Pouf uses Beelzebub to send his tiny form out while a clone remained there to keep Gon satisfied. Killua also leaves.[84]

Bardock arrives at his house and finds Gine working in her butcher shop; she is happy to see him. Bardock asks about Raditz, and Gine says he is away on a mission with Prince Vegeta, and he also asks if Kakarot is still in his nursing capsule. Gine says it's almost time to take him out, and asks if Bardock wants to see him. They enter the room with his nursing capsule. Bardock observes that he is still small, and Gine says he is a late bloomer, but he looks just like Bardock, especially his hair. Bardock's expression becomes grave, and he tells Gine that as soon as night falls, they should steal a space pod and send Kakarot to another planet. Gine protests, but then Bardock explains his suspicions about Frieza; since Kakarot's potential is low, he would have been sent off-world either way, so they should send him now before Frieza makes his move. Frieza has been asking about the legend of the Super Saiyan and Bardock thinks he is scared. When night falls, Bardock steals a pod and puts Kakarot inside, and Gine follows as he carries it out into the badlands outside the village. Gine thinks they should all try to escape together, but Bardock tells her they would be detected by scouters if they tried it. Kakarot is the only one they can save. Bardock has programmed the pod's destination for a planet called Earth, far enough away to escape Frieza's interest, with a native population weak enough to pose no threat to Kakarot. They set the pod down, and Kakarot cries. Bardock then states that if he is wrong about Frieza, they can always go to Earth later and bring him back home. They resolve themselves to their decision; Bardock tells Kakarot to survive, no matter what, and they say goodbye to their son. Bardock touches the glass of the pod's window, and Kakarot places his hand against the glass too. The pod takes off, and Gine calls out to her son telling him not to forget them and breaks down in tears. Bardock comforts her as they watch him hurtle through space. 2ff7e9595c
